2.3: His Taste not Mine!
His Taste not Mine!
Take this tip on board. It’s one of the first styling errors that personal stylists do when they first start out; projecting our taste onto the client and assuming that that’s why they’ve come to us in the first place. It couldn’t be further from the truth. It’s all too easy to come into a styling situation as ‘the expert’ that knows all the answers, but this does little for a client’s confidence and rarely is the case!
The relationship between stylist and client is collaborative and is always based on mutual consent and co-operation. Our goal is to unearth the client’s uniqueness and their personality. Every client is unique and so should our offering.
