Welcome to this exciting module on planning an editorial test shoot. For some of you this will be the very first time that you’ve styled a model and the thought of contacting a photographer or seeking a model may make you feel nervous or anxious. ‘Who am I to be contacting them?’ you may think.
So we say: if not now, then when? If not you, then who?
I want to tell you about the very first photographic shoot I did.
Back in the day I co-founded a magazine called 7 TH MAN. It was just me, my colleage
have to take the leap and make this happen. Success won’t just come to you, you’ll have to be proactive and a ‘get getter’ and believe in yourself. Be confident. You might get knock backs from photographer
