Hi guys,
My name is Valentina Schick. I’m from Switzerland (french-speaking part of the country) I d like to apologize for my eventual grammar and spelling mistakes in English. Unfortunately, i dont use English daily, but i’ll try to express myself in the very best way 😉
So, shortly about my background. I have a diploma in fashion area: I’m clothing designer for women. I know how to draw ans sew. I ve been working few years in this niche but didn’t pursue in this domain. Also I studied languages, lived abroad and worked in translation sphere.
I’m unconditional art & aesthetics lover, and of course I couldn’t stay in the office anymore. That’s why, few years ago I left the office and translation work, to become a freelance stylist & shopper. I took courses in Switzerland, Italy, France, Portugal. All this courses were around styling (w/m) , color, wardrobe, make up, photography, and management of (my) social media.
I’m passionate about general history, fashion history, architecture, geography, languages, philosophy and art. But for some reasons in my very conservative and pragmatic country, new art professions are not welcomed. Most of them are denied and considered as useless for society. I know that i have value , and i know that i can bring much more, than community is waiting from me.
By taking this course i d like to bring something new to my blog, find my place as an artist. Evolve in this profession and help/inspire others artists and people to blossom.
