To expand my knowledge of 25 years in the fashion industry ; adding in-depth knowledge on body shape , colour and business.
I am Jo Collins – I’m 50 years young and live in Putney SW London.
I am Fashion/Design Director for Wallis which is part of the Arcadia Fashion Group and have worked in the fashion industry for over 25 years.
I also run Jocollinstyle which is an image consultancy business where I aim to help women in business, and those looking for new relationships, to find their strength and confidence through understanding their personal style. To step into their identity and to discover what makes them light up and truly shine!
I specialise in ‘the art getting first impressions right’ as 7 seconds is all we have!!!
I predict fashion trends and lead a team of designers to interpret this and deliver what is relevant for real women.
I very much stand for ‘style’ over ‘fashion fads’ and am a believer in ‘slow fashion’ whereby you buy less buy buying better – my contribution to sustainability in this ever changing industry.
I am delighted to join these courses. I know allot about fashion but I certainly don’t know everything I need to know about body shape and colour and running a styling business to its best. So i’m looking forward to learning from the styling experts x
